Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in culinary arts or related field preferred
  • Proven experience managing a high-volume kitchen environment
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Certification in food safety and sanitation
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects
  • Passion for Tex-Mex cuisine and authentic flavors

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive culinary experience
  • At least 5 years in senior culinary management roles
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Expertise in culinary operations and food production
  • Ability to train and mentor kitchen staff
  • Excellent understanding of food cost control and budgeting
  • Skilled in recipe execution and quality assurance

Job Duties

  • Lead the entire culinary team and direct day-to-day kitchen operations
  • Oversee production, preparation, special events, purchasing, and receiving
  • Ensure maximum efficiency and productivity among culinary staff
  • Review and evaluate daily guest feedback to maintain high quality
  • Oversee recipe execution and provide education to culinary and service staff
  • Direct food production and plating during service
  • Train line cooks properly and efficiently
  • Manage food costs to meet or exceed budgeted percentages
  • Foster an educational environment to develop culinary staff for advancement
