Job Requirements
- Minimum age 14
- Ability to attend scheduled shifts between 7:30 am and 8:30 pm
- Lifeguard certification required for Lifeguard positions
- ASI training required for Assistant Swim Instructor
- WSI certification required for Water Safety Instructor and Deck Supervisor
- Willingness to complete additional training
- Ability to respond to emergencies
- Good physical condition
- Ability to work as part of a team
Job Qualifications
- Minimum age of 14 for Locker Room Attendant and Assistant Swim Instructor positions
- Minimum age of 15 for Lifeguard position
- Minimum age of 16 for Water Safety Instructor
- Minimum age of 17 for Deck Supervisor
- ASI training for Assistant Swim Instructor
- Lifeguard certification for Lifeguard positions
- WSI certification for Water Safety Instructor
- Ability to attend training and in-service days
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Job Duties
- Monitor pool area and locker rooms to ensure safety
- Assist in swim instruction under supervision
- Enforce pool rules and regulations
- Respond to emergencies promptly
- Conduct water safety classes and training
- Supervise aquatic activities and staff
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of aquatic facilities
