Job Requirements

  • At least 18 years of age
  • High school graduate
  • Food Handler's Card before arriving at camp
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely
  • Willingness to adhere to basic principles in MHA's mission, vision, culture code and standards of conduct
  • Adherence to company dress code and professional standards for personal grooming and appearance
  • Satisfactory background check
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States

Job Qualifications

  • High school graduate
  • Food Handler's Card
  • Previous experience in food service or related field preferred but not required
  • Positive attitude and heart for service
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Willingness to adhere to the camp's Christian principles and values

Job Duties

  • Assist in all kitchen operations including cleaning and washing dishes, food prep, organizing storage rooms, and general assistance where needed
  • Work effectively with fellow food service team members fostering a spirit of unity and cooperation
  • Perform other duties as assigned by your supervisor
