Job Requirements

  • Studying social justice public health public policy social work human services community development community organizing or urban studies/planning
  • Proficient in Microsoft software including Outlook Word PowerPoint and Excel
  • Eligible to work in and travel freely to and from the United States without sponsorship
  • Available to commit to a 35-hour work week Monday through Friday
  • Willing to work onsite at least two days per week under a hybrid work model
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and manage shifting priorities efficiently

  • Interest in and studying social justice public health public policy social work human services community development community organizing or urban studies/planning
  • Proficient in Microsoft software including Outlook Word PowerPoint and Excel
  • Eligible to work in and travel freely to and from the United States without sponsorship
  • Interest in affordable housing or real estate
  • Preference for a rising sophomore junior or senior undergraduate student
  • Energetic team player with exceptional interpersonal skills who thrives in a collaborative working environment

  • Maintains an exceptional work ethic learns quickly and stays self-motivated

Job Duties

  • Update HSD resource page including adding/editing resource guides informational videos and promotional materials
  • Participate in the Governor's Council to Address Sexual Assault Domestic Violence and Human Trafficking housing subcommittee by drafting materials creating brochures for survivors taking notes and conducting research
  • Assist with grant monitoring and collecting input from participants in the Summer Youth Employment Program and other grant and pilot programs
  • Be involved in administrative work on the TAP program Set Aside Program and Tenancy Preservation Program including organizing digital files in SharePoint data entry and data analysis
  • Complete research on housing stability initiatives including but not limited to Economic Mobility programming
  • Engage in numerous professional and leadership development activities that align with Housing Stability's broader work and the mission of MassHousing
  • Provide support in event management by attending related conferences to staff the registration table draft communications and presentations and create resource guides
