Food for Lane County (FFLC) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to ending hunger in Lane County, Oregon. Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- some food service experience helpful
- ability to perform repetitive tasks
- strong communication skills and attention to detail
- ability to obtain a current Food Handler’s Card
- current Oregon driver’s license with good driving record
- current auto insurance
- ability to safely lift 40 pounds
- ability to work in a team
- ability to provide excellent customer service to all volunteers

Job Duties
- Prepares food in quantities according to number of children estimated to be served
- assist in the daily preparation of equipment, supplies, and utensils needed for the program
- follows Summer Food Program menu and associated USDA meal pattern requirements
- sets up and breaks down the kitchen staging area, including moving equipment and coolers
- assist with receiving and dating food and supply orders from vendors
- assist with tracking inventory of food and supply items
- may help coordinate volunteer tasks, as needed
