Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in education or related field
- 2+ years of experience working with youth
- Experience in program planning and execution
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong management skills including experience with diverse populations
- Knowledge of youth development cycle and ability to program age-appropriate activities
- Skill in handling difficult children, parents, or guardians
- Good judgment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to complete Safe from Harm and CPI training
- Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously
- Valid Wisconsin driver's license with clearance to drive from The Salvation Army's insurance carrier

Job Duties
- Plan, execute, and evaluate the Summer Day Camp program for youth 5-12 years old including sports, recreation, music, art, and social activities
- Plan, execute, and evaluate day and summer camps by developing activity schedules, managing personnel and volunteers, recruiting participants
- Implement the Search Institute's 40 Developmental Assets for Youth and Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) into all youth programming
- Interact with youth, parents, and guardians to bridge families into Kroc Center programming
- Plan, execute, and evaluate special events and programs featuring Kroc youth programs
- Ensure national, territorial, and Kroc Center standards are maintained
- Perform administrative tasks as assigned
