Job Description

Girl Scouts Diamonds of Arkansas, Oklahoma & Texas is a respected and well-established non-profit organization dedicated to empowering girls and young women through various programs and activities that foster courage, confidence, and character. The organization manages multiple initiatives, including resident camp programs designed to provide enriching and safe outdoor experiences for girls of diverse backgrounds. Job Requirements

  • Valid driver's license and safe driving record
  • Active engagement in team initiatives and organizational endeavors
  • Must be 19 years of age
  • Experience in multiple camp roles
  • Experience in the development and delivery of programs and activities for similar populations
  • Experience in supervising others, especially peers, is desirable
  • Additional experience with programming and administering camp programs is desirable

  • Knowledge of office and kitchen equipment operations and maintenance
  • Ability to drive different types of vehicles

Job Duties

  • Design, deliver, and evaluate camp programs to meet targeted population needs
  • Assist in camper administrative duties including check-in and check-out coordination
  • Communicate with parents on camper behavior and physical issues
  • Work alongside Outdoor Program Manager on staff conflict resolution
  • Evaluate camp success and camper development
  • Manage and care for camp facilities and equipment
  • Supervise Camp Counselors with Outdoor Program Manager
  • Monitor counselors' work and provide feedback
  • Uphold camp safety, sanitation, and sportsmanship standards
  • Complete ACA and camp documentation
  • Attend orientation, staff meetings, and participate in camp activities
  • Maintain professionalism and positive attitudes with campers, parents, volunteers, and staff
