Job Requirements
- At least 1-2 years experience working in a supervisory capacity in a fast-paced restaurant or catering environment or applicable education
Job Qualifications
- Ability to supervise the work of others
- ability to communicate with employees, co-workers, volunteers, management staff and guests in a clear, business-like and respectful manner
- ability to speak, read and write in English
- ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment
- possess valid food handling certificate or alcohol service permit if required by state or federal regulations
- ability to handle cash accurately and responsibly
- ability to calculate basic math functions related to POS cash/credit transactions, cash reconciliation and product inventory
Job Duties
- Oversee the setup of food service areas within specific suites based upon pre-order
- ensure all suites are set prior to event based upon communication received of orders
- ensure quality and hospitality throughout the suite level
- facilitate communication between department counterparts
- organize and prepare events
- assist in closing out financials per event and ensure correct billing
- supervise team members on non-event and event days
