Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2 years of experience in catering, banquets, or food service
  • prior experience as a food expeditor or similar role
  • valid driver's license
  • ability to serve alcohol according to Miami-Dade County regulations
  • strong organizational and communication skills
  • ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • basic computer skills
  • ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
  • comfortable working in confined or fast-paced environments
  • flexible schedule with availability for day and night shifts, weekends, and holidays
  • ability to work extended or irregular hours based on event schedules

Job Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of experience in catering, banquets, or food service, ideally in a stadium or event setting
  • prior experience as a food expeditor or in a similar coordination role preferred
  • strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • effective communicator with excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills
  • ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • must possess strong customer service and problem-solving abilities
  • basic computer proficiency required
  • valid driver's license required
  • must be able to serve alcohol in accordance with Miami-Dade County regulations
  • experience in catering or special event operations
  • high school diploma or equivalent required
  • familiarity with food safety and hygiene regulations (e.g., SERV Safe certification)
  • 1-2 years of supervisory experience is a plus
  • ability to multitask and manage competing priorities effectively

Job Duties

  • Coordinate the preparation and packaging of catering and suite orders, ensuring precision and adherence to quality standards
  • serve as the liaison between kitchen staff, suite attendants, and service teams to facilitate efficient communication and operations
  • organize and manage food tickets, ensuring orders are delivered with proper timing and presentation
  • ensure allergy precautions are communicated and upheld by both kitchen and service staff to prevent cross-contamination
  • study and retain allergy and dietary information
  • proactively address any food safety concerns
  • maintain clear and consistent communication between back-of-house and front-of-house teams, relaying updates on orders and guest needs
  • oversee the pass, ensuring dishes are served promptly and meet all visual and quality expectations
  • communicate any incorrect, complimentary, or voided orders to management immediately
  • anticipate and prioritize last-minute changes to suite reservations or service needs
  • assist with setup and readiness for service based on forecasted covers, special functions, and reservations
  • collaborate closely with the Head Chef, Sous Chef, General Manager, and Manager on Duty to ensure seamless operations
  • uphold all health, sanitation, and food safety standards, reporting any potential hazards immediately
  • promote and maintain the highest standards of hygiene, appearance, and uniform compliance
