Job Requirements
- Age 18 or older
- ability to calculate basic math functions including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages
- availability to work flexible event-based schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- maintain excellent attendance
- ability to provide excellent guest service
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- one or more years experience as a server or in food service industry
- professional interpersonal communication skills
- ability to read and comprehend banquet event orders
- strong organizational and multitasking skills
- detail oriented with ability to prioritize in fast-paced environment
- ability to work independently and in a team
- strict confidentiality regarding private company and guest information
Job Duties
- Demonstrate ability to meet the company standard for excellent guest service
- assist the Suites Coordinator and Manager in event preparation including stocking suite products and maintaining pantry cleanliness
- maintain accurate ticket handling and present final checks to guests
- serve meals and replenish buffet food items while checking for accuracy and quality
- read and comprehend complex Banquet Event Orders for proper setup and service execution
- serve beverages responsibly ensuring compliance with identification and alcohol regulations
- maintain positive coworker interactions and meet uniform and appearance standards
