Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Six months or more experience in bartending or beverage service
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
- Must comply with state and federal alcohol service laws
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to handle difficult customer situations
- Must demonstrate excellent attendance
- Must be customer service oriented
Job Qualifications
- Six months or more experience bartending
- Ability to walk consistently and be on feet for long periods
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to be self-directed while working in a team-oriented environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and long hours
- Customer service oriented
Job Duties
- Must demonstrate ability to meet company standards for guest service, interaction with co-workers and uniform standards
- Follow bar pre-shift notes and bar menus and provide service as described
- Serve alcoholic beverages following proper procedures and state/federal regulations
- Learn or have knowledge of various beer, wine, and spirits available
- Pour drinks responsibly in accordance with company serving size standards
- Check guests' IDs according to state/federal regulations to verify minimum age
- Communicate cut-off to guests as required
- Listen and respond to customer requests or concerns
- De-escalate intoxicated guest situations and contact management/security if needed
- Contact management if unable to resolve issues
- Request additional product or restock as required
- Maintain clean and sanitary workstation at all times
- Ensure suites area bar equipment is clean and well maintained
- Perform set-up and breakdown of bar equipment and assist with cooler organization
- Take and fill orders off of a POS system
