Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Minimum six months bartending experience
- Ability to stand and walk continuously during shifts
- Must be of legal age to serve alcoholic beverages
- Knowledge of state and federal alcohol service laws
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and responsibly
- Availability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
Job Qualifications
- Six months or more experience bartending
- Ability to walk consistently and be on feet for long periods
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to be self-directed while working in a team-oriented environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and long hours
- Strong customer service skills
Job Duties
- Demonstrate ability to meet company standards for guest service, coworker interaction, and uniform standards
- Follow bar pre-shift notes and bar menus to provide service as described
- Serve alcoholic beverages following all proper procedures and compliance with state and federal regulations
- Learn or have knowledge of various beer, wine varieties, and spirits available
- Pour drinks responsibly in accordance with company standards for serving size
- Check guest's ID to verify minimum age requirement for alcohol purchase
- Communicate a cut-off to a guest as required
- Listen and respond to customer requests or concerns
- De-escalate intoxicated guest situations and contact management or security if needed
- Contact management if unable to resolve situations beyond standard decision-making
- Request additional product or restock as required
- Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation
- Ensure suite bar equipment is clean and well maintained
- Set up and break down bar equipment and assist cooler organization
- Take and fill orders using POS system
