Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Minimum six months bartending experience
  • Ability to stand and walk continuously during shifts
  • Must be of legal age to serve alcoholic beverages
  • Knowledge of state and federal alcohol service laws
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and responsibly
  • Availability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends

Job Qualifications

  • Six months or more experience bartending
  • Ability to walk consistently and be on feet for long periods
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to be self-directed while working in a team-oriented environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and long hours
  • Strong customer service skills

Job Duties

  • Demonstrate ability to meet company standards for guest service, coworker interaction, and uniform standards
  • Follow bar pre-shift notes and bar menus to provide service as described
  • Serve alcoholic beverages following all proper procedures and compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Learn or have knowledge of various beer, wine varieties, and spirits available
  • Pour drinks responsibly in accordance with company standards for serving size
  • Check guest's ID to verify minimum age requirement for alcohol purchase
  • Communicate a cut-off to a guest as required
  • Listen and respond to customer requests or concerns
  • De-escalate intoxicated guest situations and contact management or security if needed
  • Contact management if unable to resolve situations beyond standard decision-making
  • Request additional product or restock as required
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation
  • Ensure suite bar equipment is clean and well maintained
  • Set up and break down bar equipment and assist cooler organization
  • Take and fill orders using POS system
