Job Requirements
- No high school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand and walk for entire length of shift
- Exposure to variable temperatures
- May be required to work in narrow spaces
- Flexible availability including days, evenings, weekends, holidays, and events
- Prior experience in hospitality or food service preferred
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of service experience in a hotel, full service restaurant, catering facility, or club environment
- Previous experience as suite runner preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Customer service orientation
- Ability to multitask under pressure
Job Duties
- Prepare suite and ensure all items are in place for guest arrival, including those ordered in advance of the event
- Anticipate guests needs, suggest additional items such as appetizers and desserts, and communicate in-suite orders to kitchen and bar staff
- Ensure all laws and regulations are being followed, including checking for identification before serving alcohol
- Obtain signatures from the suite host on any charges incurred
- Stock and maintain suite cleanliness during events
- Provide attentive and courteous service to guests
- Assist with post-event suite cleanup and restocking
