Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Frequent walking, climbing stairs, and carrying food or beverage trays throughout event service
  • Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 40-50 pounds
  • Frequent bending, reaching, and twisting while setting up or serving guests
  • Must work indoors and occasionally outdoors, exposed to varying temperatures and crowd conditions
  • Requires clear vision and speech to communicate effectively and ensure safe service

Job Qualifications

  • Smart Serve certification required
  • Completion of or current enrolment in high school diploma (OSSD) program
  • Previous experience in hospitality, food service, or event operations preferred
  • Knowledge of safe food handling and sanitation practices an asset
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Excellent organization and multitasking abilities
  • Ability to remain composed and professional in a fast-paced, high-volume setting
  • Detail-oriented with strong time management skills
  • Positive, team-oriented attitude with a focus on delivering superior service

Job Duties

  • Provide attentive, professional in-suite food and beverage service to all guests
  • Review suite orders, event details, and guest instructions prior to each event
  • Set up suites with required food, beverages, utensils, and smallwares before guest arrival
  • Maintain suite presentation and cleanliness throughout the event
  • Execute guest orders accurately and in a timely manner, coordinating with the pantry and kitchen teams as needed
  • Proactively restock supplies and replenish suite fridges during service
  • Uphold responsible alcohol service standards at all times in compliance with company and AGCO regulations
  • Process additional orders through POS systems and ensure accurate billing
  • Clear and reset suites post-event, ensuring proper storage and disposal of items
  • Assist with promotional and upsell initiatives, including desserts and beverage features
  • Maintain communication with Suite Runners, Porters, and Supervisors to ensure efficient operations
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures
