Job Requirements
- Some high school or equivalent
- No previous experience required
- Ability to understand and implement written and verbal instructions
- Ability to work any area of the restaurant as needed
- Ability to operate a computerized Point of Sale system
- Must be able to bend, stand, and walk for the entire workday
- Ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally
Job Qualifications
- Some high school education or equivalent
- Ability to understand and implement written and verbal instructions
- Strong customer service skills
- Basic math skills for cash handling
- Ability to operate a computerized Point of Sale system
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices is a plus
Job Duties
- Greet guests cheerfully and prepare their orders accurately
- Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of menu items and explain them to guests
- Use the Point of Sale system to record orders, process payment, and make change
- Perform cash-in procedures accurately during shifts
- Prepare food items neatly and efficiently according to formulas
- Restock sandwich unit supplies to maintain sufficient availability
- Adhere to food handling, safety, and sanitation standards
- Clean and maintain restaurant areas following the 3-step cleaning method
- Follow quality standards and procedures from the SUBWAY Operations Manual
- Maintain professional appearance and grooming standards
- Perform light paperwork duties as assigned
- Complete University of SUBWAY training courses as required
