Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 1 year food service department lead experience in retail or restaurant environment
- Preferred 1 to 3 years of food service experience
- Serv Safe certification is a plus but not mandatory
- Comfortable talking and interacting with guests and team members
- High energy
- Ability to move quickly between activities
- Team oriented and willing to help others
- Full-time hourly position with flexible scheduling including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to stand or walk 10 hours per day
- Ability to lift 40 lbs
- Ability to bend, squat, twist, reach, grasp, and grip
- Ability to work in cold temperatures in freezer and cooler environments
- Commitment to working approximately 40 hours weekly
- Willingness to travel up to 5% for meetings
- Specialized work attire compliance including hats or visors and gloves provided
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of 1 year experience leading a food service department in a retail or restaurant environment
- Preferred 1-3 years food service experience
- Serv Safe Certified is a plus but not mandatory
- Comfortable interacting with guests and team members
- High energy and team-oriented mindset
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
Job Duties
- Lead by example to show all store team members and guests what a great restaurant food service program looks like
- Work with the Multi Unit or Multi Brand General manager to build and develop a strong food service program by leading the food operation effectively
- Set clear and measurable goals and assume ownership for program efficiency and success
- Hold team members accountable and position them for success through training, coaching, delegating, and communication
- Partner with the General manager to address performance or behavior issues quickly and fairly
- Achieve operational excellence utilizing company goals to reach financial objectives such as sales and net profit
- Manage overall appearance, cleanliness, and execution of brand standards
- Oversee quality control, merchandising, safety programs, and inventory levels
- Manage inventory controls including ordering, receiving, and waste control
- Maintain cleaning and sanitation standards in compliance with EG, Brand, and local Board of Health requirements
- Communicate and resolve issues regarding product quality, food safety, equipment, training, and signage
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Store Manager
