Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 1 year food service department lead capacity in retail or restaurant environment
- ability to stand or walk 10 hours a day
- ability to lift 40 lbs
- ability to reach overhead, bend, squat, twist, grasp and grip
- willingness to work flexible hours including days, nights, weekends and holidays
- ability to work in cold temperature environments such as freezer and cooler areas
- 5% travel to attend meetings
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 1 year food service department lead capacity in retail or restaurant environment
- preferred 1-3 years food service experience
- Serv Safe certified a plus
- comfortable talking and interacting with guests and team members
- high energy
- ability to move from one activity to another quickly
- team oriented and willing to give extra effort to help others
Job Duties
- Lead by example to show all store team members and guests what a great restaurant food service program looks like
- work with the MU/MB General manager to build and develop a strong food service program by leading the food operation effectively
- set clear and measurable goals, assume ownership for program efficiency and success
- work with the MU/MB General manager to hold others accountable and to position all team members for success through training, coaching, delegating and frequent communication
- partner with the MU/MB General manager to address team member performance or behavior issues quickly and fairly to keep the team strong
- achieve operational excellence, utilizing the company’s operational goals to achieve financial objectives including sales, expenses to budget, and net profit
- manage overall appearance and cleanliness and execution of the brand standards for the program
- oversee quality control, merchandising, safety programs and other guidelines for successful food service operations
- manage product levels to achieve 100% in-stock at all times
- responsible for all inventory controls including ordering, receiving, inventorying, and waste control
- maintain all EG, brand and local board of health cleaning and sanitation standards
- work with the Brand manager to address product quality, food safety, equipment issues, training, and signage needs
- perform other duties as assigned at the discretion of the Store manager
