Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- ability to pass pre-employment clearances including department of justice and fbi fingerprints, tuberculosis test, and physical exam
- ability to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks
- basic computer proficiency
- effective oral and written communication skills
- ability to follow safety and health regulations
- physical capability to perform job duties
- willingness to work flexible hours as a substitute employee
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- experience in warehouse operations or shipping and receiving preferred
- valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment
- basic computer skills including familiarity with inventory software
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to follow oral and written instructions
- knowledge of health and safety regulations
- physical ability to perform lifting and other warehouse tasks
Job Duties
- assemble and organize equipment and supplies at delivery sites as directed
- assure proper operation of equipment as assigned
- conduct physical inventories and verify stock and identify losses
- communicate with personnel and outside agencies to exchange information and assist in issue resolution
- drive a vehicle to various locations along assigned routes to deliver goods
- maintain cleanliness of vehicle and perform daily safety checks
- fill and process requisitions and pack and ship items according to procedures
- monitor stock levels and assist in ordering supplies
- follow established warehouse procedures and guidelines
- lock and unlock doors and maintain security at sites
- maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety
- operate warehouse equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks
- prepare and maintain files, records and reports related to purchase orders and deliveries
- report equipment maintenance needs
- shelve and store items properly including food rotation
- log and transport deposit bags securely for armored car pickup
- attend meetings, trainings and perform related duties as assigned
