Job Requirements

- Ability to read and write at a level sufficient to perform assigned duties
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Ability to lift, push and pull objects up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds
- Willingness to work flexible hours
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions
- Ability to maintain sanitation standards
- Physical mobility to stand, stoop, reach and bend
- Ability to work in varying environmental conditions
Job Qualifications
- Ability to read and write at a level sufficient to perform assigned duties
- Knowledge of basic kitchen and food serving utensils and equipment
- Knowledge of basic methods of food preparation
- Knowledge of basic cleaning methods and procedures
- Ability to apply proper sanitation and safety requirements associated with food preparation and serving operations
- Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions
- Ability to perform a variety of food preparation tasks requiring manual dexterity
- Ability to safely and effectively operate food preparation and serving equipment and machines
- Ability to meet the physical requirements necessary to safely and effectively perform required duties
- Ability to establish and maintain effective work relationships with those contacted in the performance of required duties
Job Duties
- Prepares and or assists in the preparation of foods such as sandwiches, salads, salad dressings, entrees and desserts
- Slices, assembles, mixes, stirs, blends and or measures a variety of ingredients used in food preparation activities
- Serves food
- Portions food into individual servings according to established guidelines
- Sets up serving counter lines, tables and food warmers with appropriate food items and supplies
- Cleans serving counters, dining tables, food containers, beverage machines, French fryers and other food service equipment and machines
- Cleans and stores trays, plates, utensils, pots, pans and serving equipment
