Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • update daily receiving in the purchasing/inventory system and generate a daily receiving report for food, beverage, non-food and beverage on a timely basis
  • ensure all goods received are delivered to the correct storage place/holding area
  • maintain the highest level of business integrity in dealing with vendors and delivery persons
  • check all incoming goods against delivery orders and invoices, food specifications and purchase records to ensure accuracy of type, amount, price and quality
  • issue, store, price and rotate all incoming goods maintaining par levels of inventory
  • ensure compliance with local and corporate purchasing policies and procedures
  • investigate deliveries without purchase orders
  • inspect physical condition, quality, and count or measure quantities of items upon receipt
  • accept deliveries for all departments and verify goods with originating department
  • ensure all deliveries are received at designated receiving area
  • stamp and sign all invoices and packing slips upon delivery
  • complete credit request forms for refused or damaged items
  • ensure timely completion of receiving reports daily
  • maintain computerized receiving records
  • report discrepancies and issues to Director of Purchasing
  • assist with inventories and storeroom organization
  • maintain perpetual inventory for liquor and wine
  • follow up on vendor discrepancies and back orders
  • handle all deliveries to appropriate departments
  • process requisitions and purchase orders
  • keep loading dock and receiving areas secure and clean
  • record food delivery temperatures
  • apply FIFO stock rotation system
  • discard cardboard at receiving area
  • comply with Four Seasons work rules and standards of conduct
  • work professionally with co-workers and supervisors
  • adhere to meal break policy and payroll procedures
