Job Requirements
- Completion of high school or equivalent
- minimum one year of food preparation or food service experience
- ability to obtain Food Handlers Certification
- capacity to work under physically demanding conditions
- ability to operate food service equipment including grinders and slicers
- ability to perform cashier duties and operate POS systems
- physical ability to lift, carry, push, or pull moderate weights
- ability to maintain cleanliness and comply with health and safety standards
- effective verbal communication skills
- ability to follow safety protocols and procedures
- pass DOJ live scan/fingerprinting
- pass tuberculosis risk assessment
Job Qualifications
- Equivalent to the completion of high school
- one year of experience in food preparation and food services
- possession of or ability to obtain Food Handlers Certification
Job Duties
- Lead, plan, assist, and review work of food service staff
- provide lead support on food preparation methods and techniques
- oversee use and care of food service equipment
- verify accuracy and adherence to work standards
- assist in opening and closing assigned areas
- operate and oversee POS and cash register
- prepare and serve a variety of foods
- maintain sanitary work areas
- operate modern kitchen equipment
- prepare food and set up trays for special events
- maintain inventory and place orders
- maintain records of inventory, sales, and purchase orders
- respond to customer inquiries and resolve complaints
- perform other related duties
