Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Two years experience as a Commis Tournant in a high-volume kitchen or combination of skills and education providing required skills
  • Fluent in English
  • Efficient verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience preparing breakfast and brunch
  • Ability to execute recipes involving all phases
  • Ability to work in high-pressure environment
  • Ability to stand for long periods and withstand high temperatures
  • Ability to lift and carry over 50 lbs

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Two years experience as a Commis Tournant in a high-volume kitchen or equivalent skills and education
  • Fluent in English with efficient verbal and written communication
  • Experience preparing breakfast and brunch
  • Two year degree course in Culinary Arts or equivalent training
  • Certification from the New York State Department of Health

Job Duties

  • Prepare breakfast and brunch dishes efficiently and accurately
  • Operate and manage assigned kitchen stations under supervision
  • Execute recipes according to chef’s specifications
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workstation
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation
  • Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards
  • Assist in training and mentoring junior kitchen staff
