Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two years' experience as a Commis Tournant in a high-volume kitchen or combination of skills and education relevant to the role
- Fluent in English
- Ability to prepare breakfast and brunch dishes
- Knowledge of sauces and cooking techniques
- Excellent knife skills including chopping, slicing, dicing
- Ability to execute recipes consistently according to chef's specifications
- Ability to work in high-pressure environment
- Ability to stand for long periods and withstand high temperatures
- Ability to bend, lift, push, pull, carry equipment over 50 lbs
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two years' experience as a Commis Tournant in a high-volume kitchen or equivalent skills
- Fluent in English with efficient verbal and written communication skills
- Experience preparing breakfast and brunch
- Two year degree course in Culinary Arts or equivalent training
- Certification from the New York State Department of Health
Job Duties
- Prepare food items according to recipes and chef instructions
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the station
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Assist in receiving and storing food supplies
- Communicate effectively with kitchen team
- Ensure timely preparation and presentation of dishes
- Participate in training and supervision sessions
