Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One year of relevant cleaning or janitorial experience
  • Fluency in English
  • Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds
  • Availability to work overnight shifts
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently
  • Good physical health and stamina

Job Duties

  • Clean mirrors and bathroom fixtures, dust all furniture, wipe windows inside, move furniture, vacuum, turn mattresses in guest rooms
  • Clean mirrors, vacuum, mop, wax, and wash walls and door frames in all public areas, hallways, landings, and vending areas as needed or arranged by supervisor
  • Polish all brass and metals throughout assigned areas
  • Clean light fixtures
  • Spot clean walls and doors
  • Gather soiled linen and garbage and deposit in respective chutes
  • Take down and hang drapes and curtains
  • Maintain equipment in operating condition
  • Make deliveries throughout the hotel as needed
  • Change shower curtains as needed
  • Strip beds as needed for high occupancy and check-out dates
