Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- previous custodial experience preferred
- ability to perform physical labor including lifting and bending
- knowledge of cleaning materials and equipment
- ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- availability to work flexible hours
- valid driver's license preferred
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- experience in custodial or janitorial work preferred
- ability to operate cleaning machines and equipment
- knowledge of basic maintenance and repair techniques
- physical ability to perform manual labor tasks
- good communication skills
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Duties
- sweep and mop floors and stairs
- dust desks, woodwork, furniture, and other equipment
- wash windows, walls, sinks, and other fixtures
- empty waste baskets, collect and dispose of rubbish
- clear snow and ice from walks
- mow lawns, trim shrubs, rake leaves, and perform grounds keeping tasks
- assist in cleaning rugs and tile flooring using specialized machines
- repair window shades
- replace light bulbs, soap, and towels
