Job Requirements

must possess high school diploma or equivalent
must be able to read and write
must be able to follow instructions and take initiative
willingness to learn or knowledge of USDA meal pattern requirements
willingness to attend district-sponsored in-service training and ServeSafe certification
must be willing to cashier
must display personal cleanliness and uphold sanitation standards
mental ability to work in fast-paced environment
physical ability to tolerate temperature extremes
must be able to lift up to 40 pounds
must be able to stand for up to six hours on cement floors

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

set up serving lines
prepare and deliver food to children and staff
cashier food items
wash dishes and clean kitchen facilities
maintain cleanliness and sanitation of service areas
follow safe food handling practices
assist coworkers and expedite work as needed
