Job Requirements
- Education - high school diploma or GED equivalent
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or obtain within 30 days of hire
- Ability to work under supervision and follow safety protocols
- Strong attention to detail and patient care
- Willingness to learn and perform assigned duties
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
- Availability to work PRN (as needed) shifts
Job Qualifications
- Education - high school diploma or GED equivalent
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or obtain within 30 days of hire
- Less than 1 year of experience
- Ability to explain procedures and provide patient comfort
- Knowledge of radiation safety and hospital policies
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
Job Duties
- Prepares patient for exam or procedure and assist technologist nurse or physician
- Maintains patient and staff confidentiality at all times
- Demonstrates understanding of radiation dose reference levels and follows proper protocols
- Verifies patient identification using two forms of ID
- Operates and maintains imaging equipment safely according to policies
- Maintains a clean and serviceable work environment
- Manages inventory, places supply orders and cleans imaging rooms thoroughly
