Job Requirements
- bachelor's degree or 2+ years of Amazon blue badge/FTE experience
- 3+ years of WHS or environmental program experience in manufacturing, production, or service operations
- 3+ years of people and performance management or 2+ years Amazon Safety experience
- ability to lift up to 49 pounds
- ability to stand/walk up to 12 hours
- willingness to work variable shifts and travel 50-70% of the time
- obtain adult First Aid, CPR, AED certification within 3 weeks if not already certified
- ability to work in variable temperature and noise environments
- capacity to climb stairs continuously if applicable
Job Qualifications
- bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of increasing responsibilities in WHS or environmental programs
- 3+ years in people and performance management or Amazon safety experience
- excellent written and verbal communication skills
- ability to develop and implement department goals and strategies
- strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- experience in fast-paced, dynamic organizations
- certified safety professional preferred
- experience in distribution center or manufacturing EHS preferred
- master’s degree preferred
Job Duties
- lead Global WHS Program implementation
- conduct comprehensive risk assessments
- analyze safety data and implement solutions
- build relationships with Operations leadership
- conduct site audits and ensure compliance
- manage first aid program and emergency response
- drive safety culture transformation and continuous improvement
- influence strategic decision-making
- oversee recordkeeping and WHS training programs
