Omni Fort Lauderdale Hotel is set to open in Fall 2025 as a flagship 29-story luxury hotel located at 1850 Eisenhower Boulevard, directly connected to the Broward County Convention Center. Job Requirements
- minimum of 1 year experience in hair services
- current state of Florida cosmetology license
- ability to work a variety of shifts including weekends and holidays
- must obtain a city business tax permit upon hire
- must obtain a state of Florida alcoholic beverage commission server permit
- ability to work well under pressure in a high volume environment
- responsible and dependable
Job Qualifications
- 1 year minimum experience in hair services
- current state of Florida cosmetology license
- proficient skills in cutting, blow dry styling and special occasion hairstyling, and possibility for future coloring services
- good verbal/written communication skills
- attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- maintain a professional business appearance, attitude, and performance
- must be able to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays
- commitment to exceeding the expectations of customers, always operating with a strong attention to detail to the client’s needs
- ability to work well under pressure, managing back-to-back appointments in a high volume 4 diamond environment
- responsible and dependable with ability to fulfill on-call scheduling needs
- must obtain a current city business tax permit with the city of Fort Lauderdale upon hire
- must obtain a state of Florida alcoholic beverage commission server permit
Job Duties
- work as part of the spa therapy team to consistently provide the highest possible standard of treatment, creating a sensory journey for guests helping them to rest, relax and regain a sense of balance and harmony in their lives
- responsible for setting up the hair service area according to procedures and dispose of laundry in a timely basis
- maintain sanitation of work area and equipment as required by state board guidelines
- ensure all professional stock is being used in compliance with the par levels to assist with reduction in product waste
- to begin and end hair services at the published time and ensure correct procedures of all hair services are being followed at all times
- provide the highest quality in terms of hair service and professional concept
- strive to consistently produce a minimum of 15% in retail sales
