Job Requirements
- Enrolled at GCU as a full-time student in a Bachelor's program or Master's program
- Retain a 2.0 GPA as a Bachelor level student or a 3.0 GPA as a Master level student
- Maintain good financial and academic SAP standing with the University
Job Qualifications
- Must be able to work flexible hours including but not limited to early mornings evenings weekends nights and holidays up to 20 hours a week
- Must be willing to work all GCU campus events
- Ability to maintain a professional attitude in an extremely high-volume environment
- Ability to learn and problem-solve quickly
- Ability to understand and carry out any instruction and ask for clarification if needed
- Strong customer service and hospitality skills
- Ability to work as part of a team and individually
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with other departments on campus
- Passion for GCU and GCBC
Job Duties
- Ensures that actions promote appropriate GCBC and GCU culture values and mission
- Maintains a calm and appropriate character during periods of high volume and high stress while upholding customer service standards
- Anticipates client needs and acts accordingly to ensure client and event needs are continually met
- Communicates all necessary information to managers
- Constantly contributes to a positive team environment
- Ensures that exceptional customer service is consistently given to clients
- Follows operational policies and procedures for high-volume food service standards at all times
- Helps to maintain a clean and organized environment
- Provides quality bulk beverages for all customers in a timely manner while following all health safety and sanitation guidelines
- Maintains regular and consistent attendance
