Job Requirements
- Equivalent to graduation from a four-year college or university in behavioral sciences, public or business administration, or a related field
- Two years of full-time professional experience in student services or related field
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and occasional overnight travel
- Valid California Driver's License and completion of CSU Defensive Driver's Training course
- Successful completion of background check including criminal records and sexual offender registry
- Compliance with requirements under the California Child Abuse and Neglect Reporting Act
- Commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion in a higher education setting
Job Qualifications
- Graduation from a four-year college or university in behavioral sciences, public administration, or a related field
- Two years of full-time professional experience in student services or related areas
- Demonstrated competence in student development and program coordination
- Experience working with diverse and multicultural populations
- Experience in academic advising, coaching, or mentoring preferred
- Experience in event planning and social media or website management preferred
Job Duties
- Provide academic coaching and mentoring to first-generation and diverse students
- Coordinate recruitment and retention initiatives to support student success
- Plan and execute events and programming for the REACH Student Success Center
- Supervise and train 4-5 front desk student ambassadors
- Maintain accurate records and reports related to student engagement and center activities
- Collaborate with faculty, staff, and student organizations to enhance support services
- Ensure an inclusive and welcoming environment that promotes belonging and equity
