Job Requirements

  • Must be a Purdue student
  • available to work throughout the 2026-27 academic year including all home football games
  • able to attend two mandatory training sessions in late August
  • willing to work evening, weekend, and holiday/break shifts
  • ability to perform manual labor including lifting and standing for long periods
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills required
  • proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • ability to work under varying weather conditions

Job Qualifications

  • Available to work on all home football games in the 2026 schedule
  • ability to work effectively in a team-based environment
  • strong problem-solving, time management, and organizational skills
  • excellent oral and written communication skills
  • strong customer service and interpersonal skills
  • attention to detail and ability to work independently when needed
  • proficiency in basic computer applications, including Microsoft Excel and Word
  • ability to perform manual labor, including lifting, carrying, and standing or walking for extended periods
  • general knowledge of athletics-related rules and regulations is beneficial

Job Duties

  • Assist with the management and operations of home athletic events and special events
  • serve as a team host for visiting teams, officials, and Big Ten/NCAA personnel
  • support guest services, event staff operations, game-day crowd management, and parking operations
  • coordinate with various departments within Purdue Athletics
  • assist with event setup and tear-down, including managing volunteers
  • deliver exceptional customer service and respond promptly and professionally to guest concerns
  • provide accurate and clear information to fans and stakeholders
  • assist with office and administrative duties as needed
  • work outdoors and in varying weather conditions when required
