Job Requirements
- Must be a Purdue student
- available to work throughout the 2026-27 academic year including all home football games
- able to attend two mandatory training sessions in late August
- willing to work evening, weekend, and holiday/break shifts
- ability to perform manual labor including lifting and standing for long periods
- strong communication and interpersonal skills required
- proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
- ability to work under varying weather conditions
Job Qualifications
- Available to work on all home football games in the 2026 schedule
- ability to work effectively in a team-based environment
- strong problem-solving, time management, and organizational skills
- excellent oral and written communication skills
- strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- attention to detail and ability to work independently when needed
- proficiency in basic computer applications, including Microsoft Excel and Word
- ability to perform manual labor, including lifting, carrying, and standing or walking for extended periods
- general knowledge of athletics-related rules and regulations is beneficial
Job Duties
- Assist with the management and operations of home athletic events and special events
- serve as a team host for visiting teams, officials, and Big Ten/NCAA personnel
- support guest services, event staff operations, game-day crowd management, and parking operations
- coordinate with various departments within Purdue Athletics
- assist with event setup and tear-down, including managing volunteers
- deliver exceptional customer service and respond promptly and professionally to guest concerns
- provide accurate and clear information to fans and stakeholders
- assist with office and administrative duties as needed
- work outdoors and in varying weather conditions when required
