Job Requirements
- Current TB test within the last 12 months or new test if applicable
- Pass standardized strength and agility testing including lifting up to 50 pounds
- Submit pre-employment physical prior to first day of work
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Reliable references
- Willingness to work 4 hours per day from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in cash handling or cashier roles preferred
- Basic computer skills and willingness to learn specialized software
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- Completion of Food Basics Safety Class within two months of hire
Job Duties
- Maintain student meal accounts accurately
- Handle cash transactions and bank deposit records
- Assist with daily kitchen operations and food preparation tasks
- Collaborate with the Student Nutrition Kitchen Manager and team members
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
- Communicate effectively with students and staff
- Participate in strength and agility testing as required
