Job Requirements

  • Experience with volunteer management

  • Strong organizational skills

Job Duties

  • Assist with Families Programs special events and webinars
  • Support Families Programs team in the growth and development of the GW Family Connections Platform (Campus ESP)
  • Assist with newsletter development and content development
  • Assist in the recruitment and management of families volunteer program for GW families
  • Assist families with concerns, respond to emails, direct messages, and provide students and families with information and referrals to resources
  • Assist with the management of university or departmental events
  • Serve as a primary contact for customers and/or vendors, assist with event planning and coordination, oversee event setup and strike, assist with technical and stage production, supervise other student staff
  • Participate in special projects related to departmental needs
