Job Requirements

- Experience with event planning and/or project management
- Experience with volunteer management
- Excellent interpersonal, diplomatic, and communication skills

Job Duties
- Assist with Families Programs special events and webinars
- Support Families Programs team in the growth and development of the GW Family Connections Platform (Campus ESP)
- Assist with newsletter development and content development
- Assist in the recruitment and management of families volunteer program for GW families
- Assist families with concerns, respond to emails, direct messages, and provide students and families with information and referrals to resources
- Assist with the management of university or departmental events
- Serve as a primary contact for customers and/or vendors, assist with event planning and coordination, oversee event setup and strike, assist with technical and stage production, supervise other student staff
- Participate in special projects related to departmental needs
