Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous leadership experience
  • Relevant culinary experience
  • Capability to lift and move 40 pounds
  • Availability to work flexible hours including weekends
  • Effective communication in English
  • Willingness to obtain ServSafe Food Manager Certification

Job Qualifications

  • Previous leadership experience
  • Experience in a culinary role
  • Strong understanding of kitchen operations
  • Knowledge of food preparation standards
  • Willingness to complete ServSafe Food Manager Certification
  • Ability to lift and move 40 pounds
  • Comfortable working in high volume kitchen environments
  • Availability to work various meal periods including weekends
  • Effective communication skills in English via text emails and Microsoft suite

Job Duties

  • Lead and supervise staff
  • Train assign and direct the work of food service associates
  • Provide feedback and performance appraisals
  • Address employee concerns and resolve issues
  • Advise management on purchasing needs
  • Ensure inventory is well stocked
  • Minimize waste and prevent product shortages
  • Use approved food recipes and production standards to guarantee quality
  • Ensure optimal serving temperatures and proper portion control
  • Ensure kitchen equipment is operated safely and cleaned thoroughly
  • Follow proper food storage labelling and dating procedures
  • Maintain established food rotations
  • Strictly adhere to health regulations and sanitation processes
  • Remain present during meal periods to receive guest feedback
  • Assist in meal service and address guest concerns
  • Perform other tasks to support kitchen operations and workflow
