The Foundation plays a crucial role in providing valuable work experience and hands-on training to approximately 1,500 Cal Poly Pomona students each year. Job Requirements

  • Current Cal Poly Pomona student
  • ServSafe Food certification required within 30 days of hire
  • ServSafe Alcohol, TIPS, or other alcohol service certification recognized by California Alcoholic Beverage Control Board required prior to starting work
  • Availability to work flexible hours including evenings and/or weekends
  • Provide minimum of 8 hours availability for weekend shifts
  • Reliable transportation to and from work
  • Ability to lift at least 25 pounds

  • Current Cal Poly Pomona student

Job Duties

  • Assist in various areas of the brewpub operations
  • Ensure high-quality food and services are delivered cost-effectively
  • Handle cash and accounting tasks
  • Manage inventory and food production
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment
  • Prepare food items such as pizza, salad, and sandwiches
  • Follow all COVID safety regulations
  • Learn about craft beer
  • Assist in marketing and special events coordination
  • Uphold respectful and professional conduct
  • Adhere to a regular work schedule
  • Perform other duties as assigned
