- experience in event planning or management preferred
- experience in a customer service position preferred
- experience with Microsoft Office programs preferred
Job Duties
- Perform operational tasks for Campus Recreation programs and facilities
- provide excellent customer service
- maintain facility and asset cleanliness
- ensure all policies are followed by guests and participants
- implement all safety measures
- assist in execution of Student Activities events
- work assigned events
- evaluate and analyze current events for improvement
- promote various events throughout the week
- ensure event setup, decorating, production, and tear down
- manage security, hospitality, and promotion as needed at events
- maintain knowledge of event details and properly promote events
- assist in maintaining and adhering to policies and procedures during events
- administer and collect surveys at events
- contribute to post-event evaluations
- attend all required trainings and meetings
- assist with events and operations during evenings, nights, or weekends
- perform tasks assigned by the Special Events Manager
- work effectively as a team member
