Job Requirements
- Physical ability to stand and walk 100 percent of the shift
- Frequent reaching, bending, and stooping
- Capability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Proficiency in English speaking, reading, and writing
- Ability to interpret handwritten guest checks and notes
- Completion of Florida Responsible Vendor program certification
- Completion of food safety certification
- Flexibility to work varying hours
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced restaurant environment
Job Qualifications
- Can physically stand and walk throughout the entire shift
- Can reach, bend, and stoop frequently as required
- Able to deliver plates and clear tables of plates and glasses, including lifting up to 50 lbs
- Ability to speak, read, and write English proficiently
- Ability to read and write handwritten guest checks and notes
- Completion and passing of the Florida Responsible Vendor program per company and state statutes
- Completion and passing of the food safety certification program per company and state statutes
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment
Job Duties
- Follow all company safety and sanitation policies and procedural training
- Support fellow employees in maintaining table appearance, food/drink running, and other tasks as needed
- Be knowledgeable about the food and beverage menus, current food and drink promotions and specials, and answer guests’ questions clearly and verbally
- Accurately enter orders into the POS system
- Retrieve food or drink orders from kitchen or bar area and deliver them to guests in a timely manner
- Collect guests’ payments via credit cards, cash, or gift cards, ensure transaction accuracy using POS, and return correct change promptly
- Perform shift changes, opening/closing duties, and assigned sidework
- Pack and verify all ToGo orders with guests
- Greet guests at the curbside pickup area
