Job Requirements

  • Proximity to Chicago HQ or Dallas HQ2
  • Ability to travel multiple times a month
  • 3-5 years of experience in field marketing and event coordination preferably in tech or telecom
  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple events and initiatives simultaneously
  • Proactive and self-motivated with ability to take initiative and contribute beyond core responsibilities
  • Effective communicator and collaborator capable of working cross-functionally
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities with proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget
  • Team-oriented mindset with experience mentoring peers or supporting development of junior team members

Job Duties

  • Plan regional and national events such as Executive Business Reviews, Blue Carpets, Executive Retreats, and other events
  • Oversee onsite event management from inception to completion
  • Serve as support for major national events ensuring successful implementation
  • Support the AVANT Sales team in coordinating and executing marketing initiatives
  • Ensure AVANT Sales and Tech Enablement teams are apprised of event activities and supporting communications
  • Facilitate event vendor logistics including RFP, site visits, contract negotiation, and onsite vendor management
  • Manage budget requirements through strategic recommendations and operational efficiencies
  • Identify opportunities to improve marketing processes by increasing efficiency and implementing best practices
  • Champion the AVANT brand and voice across all marketing materials
  • Demonstrate initiative by participating in additional projects and cross-functional opportunities
