Job Requirements
- bachelor's degree or equivalent
- six years of ocean and freight forward sales experience
- experience selling to c-suite executives preferred
- knowledge of logistics processes, solutions and project management
- understanding of ocean freight import process from issuance to delivery
- demonstrated ability to achieve sales goals and execute customer sales strategies
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment
- availability to work in Seattle, Washington

Job Duties
- develop and maintain strategic partnerships with new or existing customers
- oversee customer accounts and strategically develop solutions that meet customer needs and drive sales and profits
- identify opportunities for account growth and offer value-added services
- monitor industry trends and competitor actions to determine new sales opportunities
- establish and lead sales strategy for ocean and freight forward business
- prospect target customers through networking and leveraging existing relationships
- engage with customers at senior levels to assess satisfaction and manage at-risk accounts
- collaborate across functions to develop proposals and pricing models
- manage proposal and presentation processes and ensure accurate reporting
- provide leadership and energize sales efforts toward new business development
