Job Requirements

  • Previous warehouse experience is required
  • ability to follow HACCP guidelines
  • ability to maintain inventory accuracy
  • capability to use cleaning chemicals safely
  • capacity to complete reports on time
  • ability to secure storeroom and supplies
  • ability to transport food and supplies safely when required

Job Qualifications

  • Previous warehouse experience
  • valid driver's license and good driving record (when transport is necessary)

Job Duties

  • Inventory and maintain necessary food and other supplies to ensure efficient operation of the food service department
  • store food and supplies in correct containers and in proper storage areas according to department guidelines
  • maintain records and logs documenting storage temperatures of perishable food items
  • date, label, and rotate stock according to procedures to use oldest product first
  • order food and supplies based upon product specifications and company protocols
  • secure designated areas to safeguard associates and follow all security procedures
  • transport food and supplies in appropriate containers or vehicles
  • follow HACCP guidelines when receiving and distributing food supplies
  • report needed maintenance or repairs of equipment
  • complete all daily, weekly, or monthly reports on time
  • identify and utilize cleaning chemicals according to manufacturer directions and department safety procedures
  • perform other duties as assigned
