Job Qualifications
- Previous warehouse experience
- valid driver's license and good driving record (when transport is necessary)
Job Duties
- Inventory and maintain necessary food and other supplies to ensure efficient operation of the food service department
- store food and supplies in correct containers and in proper storage areas according to department guidelines
- maintain records and logs documenting storage temperatures of perishable food items
- date, label, and rotate stock according to procedures to use oldest product first
- order food and supplies based upon product specifications and company protocols
- secure designated areas to safeguard associates and follow all security procedures
- transport food and supplies in appropriate containers or vehicles
- follow HACCP guidelines when receiving and distributing food supplies
- report needed maintenance or repairs of equipment
- complete all daily, weekly, or monthly reports on time
- identify and utilize cleaning chemicals according to manufacturer directions and department safety procedures
- perform other duties as assigned
