Job Requirements
- minimum age of 16 years
- ability to pass a drug screening where applicable
- physically able to lift 40-65 lbs
- available to work days, some evenings, weekends and holidays
- dependable and punctual
- excellent customer service skills

Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- experience in retail or customer service
- knowledge of pet care and products
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to handle physical tasks such as lifting up to 65 lbs
- willingness to work flexible hours including weekends
- ability to provide friendly and neighborly service
Job Duties
- help neighbors select appropriate toys and pet products
- review and compare pet food ingredients for customers
- fit pets with proper harnesses and accessories
- educate customers about pet ownership and care
- stock shelves and organize store inventory
- ring up customer purchases accurately and efficiently
- care for store pets including feeding and habitat cleaning
