Job Requirements
- Be at least 16 years old
- Pass a drug screening where applicable
- Ability to lift 40-65 pounds
- Capacity to stand for extended periods
- Be flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Support team members by providing backup when needed
- Have knowledge of animals and store products for excellent service
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous retail or customer service experience beneficial
- Basic knowledge of pets and their care
- Ability to handle physical tasks including lifting and standing
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Willingness to learn and participate in training programs
- Must be at least 16 years old
Job Duties
- Help neighbors select appropriate pet products
- Review and compare pet food ingredients for customers
- Fit pets with proper gear and accessories
- Educate customers, including children, on pet ownership
- Stock shelves and manage inventory
- Ring up purchases accurately and efficiently
- Provide care for in-store animals including feeding and cleaning habitats
