Job Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree GED preferred
- Associates or Bachelor’s in Criminal Justice preferred for Asset Protection Team Member only
- Previous related work experience preferred
- Operating POS equipment symbol and telephone preferred for Cashier only
- Indirect support of people and processes to drive operational excellence and expected sales targets for Cashier only
- Four plus years of personal experience with outdoors hobbies interests and skill sets
- fishing and hunting experience preferred for Outdoor Enthusiast only
- CPR and First Responder certification is a plus for Asset Protection Team Member only
- Loss Prevention or Criminal Justice background is a plus for Asset Protection Team Member only
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice preferred for Asset Protection roles
- Previous related work experience preferred
- CPR and First Responder certification a plus for Asset Protection
- Knowledge of retail POS systems and inventory software
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to multitask with attention to detail
- Passion and experience in outdoor activities for relevant positions
- Must meet federal and state requirements for firearms transactions as applicable
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 60 pounds
Job Duties
- Provide fast and friendly customer service
- Assist customers in navigating and selecting from a wide range of sporting goods and outdoor products
- Support store profitability by driving sales and maintaining product knowledge
- Operate POS equipment and handle cash transactions accurately
- Follow safety and operational procedures including emergency response protocols
- Maintain store appearance including merchandising and inventory control
- Collaborate with team members to promote a positive and engaging shopping experience
