Job Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
- Previous related work experience preferred
- Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Acceptable level of hearing and vision to perform job duties
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds occasionally
- Ability to stand and perform repetitive motions for extended periods
- Must adhere to company policies and professional behavior guidelines
- CPR and First Responder certification is a plus (Asset Protection only)
- Must meet federal and state requirements for firearm transactions (Fishing and Hunting positions only)
- Must qualify for FOID card in Illinois (Fishing and Hunting positions only)
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Previous related work experience preferred
- Excellent customer service orientation
- Ability to build rapport and engage with customers
- Effective problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and maintain attention to detail
- Passionate and knowledgeable about outdoor sports and hobbies
Job Duties
- Provide prompt and friendly customer service
- Assist customers in navigating and selecting products
- Operate point-of-sale equipment efficiently
- Maintain store cleanliness and organization
- Follow safety and operational procedures
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets
- Participate in inventory management and merchandising tasks
