Job Duties
- Answering customers' questions and providing information on procedures or policies
- Monitoring checkout stations to ensure adequate cash and proper staffing
- Establishing or identifying prices of goods and tabulating bills using calculators or cash registers
- Maintaining clean and orderly checkout areas
- Receiving payments by cash, check, credit cards, vouchers, or automatic debits
- Stocking shelves and marking prices on shelves and items
- Preparing specialty beverage orders such as Lee's Specialty coffee and smoothies
- Performing cleaning tasks according to departmental and health standards
- Ensuring beverage area is neat, clean, and well-stocked
- Receiving sandwich orders and slicing meats and vegetables
- Placing meats or fillings and garnishes between bread for sandwiches
- Cooking, mixing, and seasoning ingredients for dressings and fillings
- Frying bacon and grilling meats for hot sandwiches
- Keeping work areas clean and compliant with OSHA and company policies
- Completing opening and closing kitchen checklists
- Preparing various meats, poultry, vegetables, and other food items for cooking
- Complying with standard portion sizes, cooking methods, and kitchen procedures
- Maintaining clean and sanitary kitchen workstations
- Properly closing the kitchen and assisting with closing duties
- Maintaining and sanitizing all store areas including stations, bathrooms, and equipment
- Vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, dusting, and restocking supplies
- Emptying trash cans and cleaning receptacles
- Wearing proper personal protective equipment
- Restocking vending supplies in the designated storage area
