Job Requirements
- Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
- acceptable hearing and vision for job duties
- adherence to company policies and rules
- physical ability to frequently walk, reach, talk, and occasionally sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, push, and pull
- ability to lift up to 10 pounds constantly and occasionally up to 60 pounds
- constant standing and use of hands and repetitive motions
- specific vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
- meet federal and state requirements for firearms transactions where applicable
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- associates or bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice preferred for Asset Protection roles
- previous related work experience preferred
- proficiency in POS equipment for cashier role
- CPR and First Responder certification a plus for Asset Protection
- knowledge of outdoors hobbies such as fishing and hunting for specific sales roles
- ability to meet FOID card requirements for hunting and fishing sales roles
- strong interpersonal and communication skills
- proficient in basic mathematical computations
- bilingual abilities a plus
- strong situational awareness
Job Duties
- Provide fast and friendly customer service
- assist customers in navigating product choices
- maintain store profitability
- uphold safety and operational standards
- operate POS and telephone systems (cashier role)
- support inventory and merchandising tasks
- ensure loss prevention and asset protection
