Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Previous related work experience preferred
  • Ability to operate POS equipment and telephone
  • Four or more years of personal experience with outdoor hobbies
  • CPR and First Responder certification a plus
  • Knowledge of loss prevention or criminal justice a plus
  • Ability to meet federal and state requirements for selling firearms
  • Ability to qualify for and maintain FOID card (Illinois only)
  • Strong situational awareness and observation skills
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, standing, and walking
  • Must adhere to company policies and work hours

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Previous retail or customer service experience preferred
  • Ability to operate POS and related equipment
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of outdoor sports and activities preferred
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including nights and weekends
  • Proficient in inventory and order processing systems

Job Duties

  • Provide fast and friendly customer service
  • Assist customers in navigating products and making purchases
  • Operate POS equipment efficiently and accurately
  • Maintain store cleanliness and merchandising standards
  • Support inventory control and receiving processes
  • Ensure safety and loss prevention measures are followed
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and operational goals
