Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in customer service or retail preferred
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Basic math skills and cash handling experience
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks associated with the role
  • Ability to follow health and safety guidelines consistently

Job Duties

  • Ensure consistent and quality customer experience by executing brand beverage recipes and techniques, resolving customer relations issues, and leading the team in delivering the Scooter's 'Amazing' customer service experience
  • Maintain speed of service standards during high-volume periods by staying calm, managing an efficient team workflow, anticipating customer needs, and utilizing downtime to prepare for the next rush
  • Assist the Store Manager in onboarding and training new team members
  • Develop effective working relationships with team members, identifying individual motivation factors, and providing clear, constructive feedback to reinforce/improve performance
  • Proactively seek opportunities to increase individual and team sales
  • Understand and execute cash handling, point of sale system, and operational procedures in an accurate, consistent manner
  • Ensure team members follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
  • Serve as a keyholder, following all opening and closing procedures
  • Demonstrate punctuality, dependability, and adaptability
  • Assist Store Manager with administrative duties as requested
