Job Duties

  • lead Mattress Firm's vision and company initiatives across multiple store units
  • achieve sales performance goals by holding associates accountable for in-store merchandising
  • lead selling programs and drive related KPI results
  • support the omni-channel experience
  • create an engaging and motivating environment for team members
  • conduct one-on-one meetings and develop team bio book
  • perform 30-60-90-day check-ins with new hires
  • conduct workforce management activities including scheduling and reconciliation
  • ensure compliance with company policies and state regulations
  • provide technical and product knowledge information
  • analyze reporting and identify skill gaps for coaching
  • achieve or exceed store financial targets
  • ensure merchandising, marketing, and POP standards execution
  • partner with marketing on social media strategy
  • ensure timely opening and closing procedures
  • manage stock inventory levels and review merchandise flow
  • follow cash handling and sales processing policies
  • execute company initiatives
  • maintain awareness of competition and develop counter strategies
  • conduct store level inventory and research discrepancies
  • lift, push, or pull 50+ pounds
  • execute any other supervisor-requested activities
